After the summer vacation, the reopening of school was with a new enthusiasm and a new motto that the students and teachers of American school Of Baroda will serve the Mother Earth by bringing awareness about the Environmental Problems and the measures to be taken by the responsible future citizens of our country to overcome these issues. In the month of June 2016, the first week was celebrated as the ‘Environment Week’. Students of Grade III & VII performed various ‘Skits’ and ‘Mime acts’ showing the importance of trees and usefulness of water. They presented it in the assembly very creatively which have given a clear message to them that they can do many things to save water and to save the environment.
Students while going back to home after school hour used to pour the excess water from their water bottle into a drum kept at the school entrance. The water so collected was used in the school garden to save the beautiful plants in the peak summer.
