CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Education includes curricular and co-curricular activities to form holistic personalities of the students. Thorough effort is made to offer the students excellent opportunities to display their artistic talents, oratory and analytic skills. The Annual Concert, Sports Day, Students council election, Funfair further encourage the involvement of the entire student body, training them in various spheres and bringing together their individual and collective skills.

VACATION PROGRAMMES

For those who do not intend to move out for the vacation, a Summer Camp Programme, to utilize the time productively is chalked out for the students. Here various activities like specialized arts or crafts, music, cookery and adventure sports like rappelling and river crossing are organized with professionals to conduct them. Here not only our school students, but also from other schools located not only at Baroda put also other cities and towns are invited to participate.

STUDENTS’ COUNCIL

The students of std. I to XII are divided into four houses: Akruti, Prakruti, Sanskruti and Sukruti. A students’ council comprising the House Captains, Prefects, Vice-Prefects are elected.

 

Responsibility, Authority, Leadership, Communication Skills, Impartiality, Self-discipline, and self-confidence are the qualities imbibed by those forming the Students’ Council.

 

The council participates in the Supervision of assemblies, management of school activities and general discipline.

CAMPS AND FIELD TRIPS

To facilitate first hand learning experiences, outdoor camps and field trips are organized for the students to develop independence, co-operation and a healthy relationship with nature. Living in nature away from protective walls of a home brings them closer to nature and thereby understanding it better.

SCHOOL CLUBS

To help project the talents of the students in the fields of their interest, various clubs are formed and the students are encouraged to be part of the club of their interest.

ACTIVITIES

The students select the activities of their interests from the different groups.

 

Group A Arts, Crafts, Dance, Music – Vocal or Instrumental.

Group B Literary club, Science club, Cyber club, Performing Arts club, Fine arts club, Quizzer’s club

Group C Sports – Basket Ball, Foot Ball, Volley Ball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Cricket.

 

One activity is to be selected from each group and attended for two days each. In activities like Dance & Music the students are examined and certified by Nationally Recognized Institutes.
